Frequently Asked Questions

How fast can you assess my situation?

Normally it takes a few in-depth one-on-one sessions to understand your situation and what you wish to achieve. The first session is normally between 1-2 hours, and follow-on sessions are either by virtual media or by phone for 1/2 hour to an hour each.  Definitive goals and expectations are discussed during the first and second sessions.  Toward the end, we will assess how each aspect of your expectations has been accomplished and often we can calculate your return on your investment as well as evaluate how effective you now are at what you wished to achieve.

How often do we meet?

My clients usually want a minimum series of either 4 hour-long sessions up to 12 hour-long sessions.  Once regular session times are established, they will be saved for you unless you change them with at least 24 hours' notice.  We will co-create action plans and you may do field work between sessions to ensure what we discuss is working.  If on-line assessments will help you in achieving your goals, we will review which ones might be best and how to arrange for them.  All of these are included in a lump sum monthly rate, and discounts may be granted for longer term engagements.

Is everything confidential?

​Yes, as long as there are no legal reporting requirements.  A full confidentiality agreement is signed by both parties prior to undertaking any executive coaching outlining all terms and conditions.  A confidential questionnaire and assessments may be offered prior to the first or second meetings and are included in the flat rate. If a company has hired me to support you, we will review all terms prior to beginning to ensure everything is acceptable to you.

Can you assure me of results?​

Having coached officers, executives and small business owners in over 30 organizations, internationally, each person has had very fulfilling results.  While results are not guaranteed, in my experience each person has gained tremendous self-knowledge, new insights, skills, and results through the coaching process.  Helping clients through transitional experiences is my specialty, as well as creating legacies. How much will this cost, how long might this last, and could I be sponsored by my company vice paying for this myself?

My rates are normally paid monthly as a six to twelve month package.  Packages include the number of sessions you wish, a questionnaire, and my review of any special assessments you might have had to aid you in more in-depth self knowledge.  I can also perform a personal 360 evaluation for you if you wish to add that to your engagement.  Coaching engagements normally last from 6 months to a year.  The results are measurable with exceptional return on investment.

 

You may also ask your organization to sponsor you.  Many companies hire me to help their C-Suite executives, help senior leaders take on more responsibility, or help new executives transition into their companies from other companies. For coaching anywhere in the US Federal Government, I have affiliations with multiple companies in the Federal Coaching Group if a contract or purchase order is required.
